Dr. Russell Fuller, a clinical psychologist, has been helping people to live more authentic, purposeful lives for over fifteen years. He uses a mind-body-spirit approach to help clients identify and release negative patterns and beliefs so they can achieve their goals and live the life they desire.

Dr. Fuller assists persons in emerging from the morass of confusion, unhappiness, disconnection and lack of purpose which plague so many Americans in order to live a more fulfilling, authentic life. He uses a number of therapeutic approaches to assist his patients including Energy Psychology, Psychotherapy, Cognitive Therapy and other modalities such as yoga therapy, tapas acupressure techniques and more.

Dr. Fuller came to Design SEO Hosting because he wanted an updated appearance on the web. He also wanted to begin blogging and building his social networks through an updated website.

Our main goal for this project was to give Dr. Fuller a clean and professional website, focusing on his expertise as a skilled Energy Psychologist. The site was structured to serve as an information portal through which visitors interested in clinical psychology and/or energy psychology could obtain knowledge and make contact. Focus was placed on creating an intuitive, friendly user experience for visitors, allowing easy access to top level navigation, contact information, social identities and blog posts.

The design aesthetic for the site was created around an holistic, whole mind-body-spirit approach to healing. Dr. Fuller’s existing logo was incorporated into the site, and layout, colors and other features were chosen based on the existing logo.

Custom contact forms were created to obtain information from both new patients and existing patients. The blog section allows Dr. Fuller to regularly add fresh content to the website in the form of video, images, text, power point presentations, etc. After a one hour WordPress tutorial Dr. Fuller felt capable of managing, manipulating and curating the website content on his own.

Included in this website package was a Website SEO Package, and the data gathered through the SEO analysis phase was used to build the content framework for the website. The site makes use of search engine optimized organizational practices including custom URLs, page titles, categories and more.

Google Analytics and Google Webmaster Tools were included in this website package, and give Dr. Fuller information on visitor traffic and a variety of other statistics.

The design aesthetic for the site uses colors and images provided by the client, focusing on deep, rich colors. Basic logo design and branding was included in this website package.

The site is easy for visitors to navigate with separate sections focusing on the various bartending, bar consulting, custom cocktail, and mixology services offered by CocktailSmith. Website visitors have one-click access to learn more or contact CocktailSmith directly. Additionally, the site has a WordPress based blog component containing supplemental information related to events, drink recipes, sponsor products and mixology competitions that is easily edited and updated in-house by CocktailSmith.

A variety of custom data submission forms were created for this project. The forms range in complexity from a simple ‘Contact Us’ form to an ‘Event Quote’ form containing conditional logic (the form is created dynamically based on answers received), allowing CocktailSmith to gain as much information as possible on the scope of the event before making first contact with a potential client. A custom form was also created to create the drink profiles quickly and easily by simply completing a few data fields and uploading an image.

The website includes analytics tracking, webmaster tools and automated sitemap submission. The site is structured for search engine friendliness, and was set up to enable future search engine optimization efforts with minimal changes to the current website.

This project included graphic design, logos, search engine optimization (WordPress Website SEO Stages 1-3) and a WordPress based website. The Quicklaunch team knew they would want to be consistently adding content to the website in the form of updates and press coverage, so it was important they had a site built on a solid framework that would allow for simple editing by team members. All items posted to the blog section of the website are automatically syndicated to the Quicklaunch Facebook and Twitter profiles. Included in this package was also a one hour WordPress introductory tutorial, covering the basics of blogging and maintaining the website.

Images, article features and content were provided by Quicklaunch Inc. and integrated into the site in the form of blog articles, featured images and video. Based on analysis of the previous site and knowledge of their goals, we created an entirely new content framework for the site – separating it into sections catered to different interest groups.

Because Quicklaunch Inc already had a website with a significant amount of backlinks, precautions were taken to ensure the rebuild would not negatively affect these links and/or existing search engine rankings. We employed the use of 301 redirects and carefully analyzed the existing site structure before moving content. Upon rebuild an updated sitemap was submitted immediately and search engines were adequately notified of any changes.

Dr. Rochelle Voth, Owner and Clinical Director of New Mindful Life, wanted to build a site with a dual function – as both a mindfulness resource guide with information about her practice and membership site for her students and website visitors. Firstly, she wanted a site that contains a wealth of information about mindfulness practices, mindfulness courses offered at her private practice and an articles section through which she could share new and current research in the field. Additionally, she wanted a membership-based aspect to the site, through which students enrolled in her courses or those wishing to access mindfulness based meditation audio and course materials could join the site to access those materials.

The New Mindful Life site incorporates a blog (Articles section) through which Dr. Voth and her associates post content related to upcoming courses, mindfulness research, mindfulness practices and other information. These posts are then syndicated and sent to the New Mindful Life Twitter feed and Facebook pages, allowing contacts through those social media avenues to stay updated. The website is structured for search engine friendliness, and uses dynamic sitemaps which are automatically updated. Each post on the site includes quick links to social sharing via Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc. to encourage viral sharing of content.

The homepage has a featured slider, which can be easily edited to highlight the upcoming mindfulness courses and workshops. At the bottom of the page are small features, which showcase all of the courses and mindfulness meditation audio files available. The top menus were created for optimal user friendliness, and each page on the site is accessible directly from the home page (and each additional page of the website). The home page also contains a Login or Register section, giving visitors the opportunity to log directly into their membership portal, where they may access their members-only course materials and audio files. The register button gives site visitors one click access to registering for any of the courses/workshops/audio offered by New Mindful Life.

There is a mindfulness class calendar, which gives up to date information on course offerings and locations. The Resources section contains a wealth of mindfulness related information, which is available to both members and non-members to the website. Some of the information included in the Resources section includes: Mindfulness Articles, Links to other mindfulness websites, and FAQ section, a list of Mindfulness Books and information on obtaining the free and paid Mindfulness Audio Files.

Registration for upcoming mindfulness courses, classes and workshops are done through the website, and payments are processed online via PayPal. Alternatively, students wishing to pay offline via check or other means can be added to the online system easily by New Mindful Life. Once students are registered for a course they will have access to the protected audio and course materials associated with that course. Registered members receive an unique login and password via email upon registration, and can access special “members only” sections of the website.

The membership functionality also allows Dr. Voth and associates to email members of particular courses regarding coursework and upcoming course events. By incorporating this membership aspect to the site, mindfulness course and workshop attendees have an enhanced course experience, allowing them to perform further study and/or easily review course materials outside of the structured class times.

One aspect of WLG’s focus on a personal, open client relationship is communication, and their website is structured to encourage dialog and as a resource guide for legal information. Both clients and visitors from the web will have the ability to access informational blogs posted by the firm, follow WLG via social media outlets such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter, or contact WLG directly.

The homepage of the site contains a rotating featured slider, highlighting different aspects of the practice. Across the top of each of the pages is a navigation bar, ensuring visitors to the site can easily access each part of the site from any page. This site is structured for maximum search engine visibility, and an advanced keyword report and competition analysis was performed prior to building the site. After performing the keyword report, we laid out a site framework based on the best fit keywords and compiled a list of keywords for WLG to target for future articles and site content. The website was built around the highest quality target keywords, and contains other search engine optimization features such as automated sitemap submission, HTML sitemap, webmaster tools integration, analytics tracking, targeted page/post titles, an intelligent permalink structure and more.

Included with this site was a one hour WordPress tutorial, during which the client learned how to add, manipulate and structure current and future website content, as well as tips on how to structure the content for optimum search engine impact. Also reviewed in this one hour tutorial was a discussion on website hosting and backups, including best practices.
