Heart Handmade Blog is a website for crafters and craft enthusiasts. This is a simple blog-based site that displays user generated content. By filling out a custom “featured crafter” form, a post for each crafter is created and sent for review by the website administrator. Once the submission is approved, the post is then displayed on the website as a post. In addition to custom forms, this website also features site-wide comments to encourage discussions, unobtrusive advertising blocks, Facebook/Twitter integration and mailing list sign-up functionality. This site is still in its infancy with regard to development, and many additional features will be added periodically including multi-user access to allow crafters to edit their own profiles, an online auction portal and video tutorials.
