Vista Home Chat is the website of San Diego Realtor, Daisy Johnson. Daisy has successfully completed hundreds real estate transactions, and is recognized for her high customer satisfaction ratings. Daisy understands the unique needs of her clients, and knew she needed a website that provided something “more” to suit their individual needs. The main objective of this site was to create a visually appealing platform through which she could share information specific to North County San Diego real estate. The site also serves as a point of contact for potential, current and past real estate clients.
Vista Home Chat utilizes a number of web technologies to both display information, and give users access to Daisy via email, live chat, phone or filling out a contact form.
As part of this real estate blog package, we spent an hour training Daisy on how to use WordPress for blogging and content. During the WordPress tutoring session the client learned: how to create content through the use of posts, pages, categories and tags; how to manage content; and how to import content from other sources such as YouTube. Instruction on uploading media, linking and comment moderation were also included, as well as SEO basics.
Vista Home Chat has a number of social sharing features enabled including: one-click retweeting, a visual display of Daisy’s tweets in the sidebar, Twitter/Facebook/YouTube icon links, Facebook “Like” button functionality and sharing via Google Buzz, Digg, StumbleUpon, and other social media outlets. These features help to keep readers updated on the latest news, market conditions and developments related to Vista real estate.
The site has an email sign up widget, which enables subscribers to receive new post updates via email.
To get in touch with Daisy visitors to the site have a variety of choices. There are two custom contact forms on the site – Contact Daisy and What’s Your Home Worth? – which allow visitors to send information directly to Daisy. She then receives these inquiries via email, and is also able to read the entries through the administrative interface on the back end. The Live Chat feature on the site gives Daisy the ability to talk directly to her website visitors, as well as display a ‘leave a message’ form when she is unavailable to chat.
The site was built with SEO in mind, and has an intelligent architecture for both humans and search engines alike. The inherent SEO capabilities of the site will work well for future SEO/SEM efforts, and the use of analytics tracking through Google will give the client data on the success of these campaigns.
