Lu Dawkins Landscapes is a Philadelphia area landscaping company offering a variety of outdoor services. As a relatively new business, Lu Dawkins Landscapes needed to establish a professional presence on the web. It was important for them to have a website they could both manage in house and update as needed without incurring high development costs, leading us to choose a WordPress based solution.
Being a landscaping company, we felt it was important for their site to mainly be a showcase for the work Lu Dawkins Landscapes has done – highlighting their various areas of outdoor expertise. With this in mind, we designed the homepage to be mainly focused on an image slider, displaying examples of the work their company has done. We also wanted this main page give visitors the ability to contact Lu Dawkins Landscapes without searching the site for contact information – giving them a clear idea of how they can take the first step in obtaining a free estimate or moving forward with a project.
The portfolio page contains both images for specific projects with contact information for references, as well as another image slider to give more work examples.
There are two custom contact forms on this site – a Contact Us form and Estimate Quote form. Notifications for form submissions are enabled to both alert Lu Dawkins Landscapes of a new inquiry, and to let the form submitter know that their information has been received.
Google Analytics and Google Webmaster Tools integration provide daily insight on entrance pages, content traffic, and visitor data.
This website is hosted through us, and we perform daily backups of the site’s data. We also provided this client with email addresses at their domain, with forwarding to their preferred email client.
